Lorry Driver - Permanent, Full Time

Location: Dungloe, County Donegal

Excellent opportunities exist for a Transport Driver in one of the North West’s most established retailers. We are looking for an energetic and well organised individual to join our dynamic and positive transport team in our Builders Providers based in Dungloe. The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of two years driving experience in a customer facing environment and possess excellent customer care skills.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• To ensure that all orders are carefully loaded and delivered to customers in a timely fashion in accordance with driving legislation through-out the North West.
• Dealing with customers and providing excellent customer service
• Full clean driving licence to include, at least, category C or equivalent for lorry and B licence for van.
• Hiab Training Certificate, and forklift licence would be an advantage.
• Manual lifting will be required as part of these roles.
• Current CPC training will be required
• Maintain all documentation in relation to all deliveries and vehicles.
• Fluent & Articulate English Speaker
• Excellent communicator, good level of English required.
• A knowledge of the construction industry and construction related products would be an advantage
• Liaise with internal departments, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude to work.
• Ability to work off own initiative, work to deadlines and good under pressure.
