The Cope are delighted to offer a position on the Transport Operations & Commercial Driving Apprenticeship Programme — an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in the transport and logistics industry.

This apprenticeship combines practical on-the-job experience with professional qualifications, allowing you to earn while you learn over a two-year programme.

What the Apprenticeship Includes

As part of the programme, you will:

• Be fully employed and paid throughout the apprenticeship
• Gain a Higher Certificate (NFQ Level 6) in Transport Operations & Commercial Driving
• Achieve your C & CE truck driving licence along with Driver CPC qualification
• Build valuable industry experience working with The Cope
• Study online with ATU Sligo one day per week during term time

This programme is designed to give apprentices the skills, knowledge and qualifications needed for a successful career in the transport sector, with strong opportunities for future progression.

Requirements

Applicants should:

• Hold a valid Class B driver’s licence
• Have a minimum of 5 O6 Leaving Certificate subjects (or equivalent)
• Be over 18 years of age
• Be reliable, motivated and punctual
