We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic and reliable people to join our team at The Cope.
As a Retail Assistant, you will play an important role in providing excellent customer service and helping to create a welcoming shopping experience for our customers.
About the Role
This is a varied role where no two days are exactly the same. You will work as part of our retail team, assisting customers and helping with the day-to-day running of the department.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Providing friendly and helpful customer service
- Assisting customers with product enquiries
- Serving customers at the checkout when required
- Replenishing and merchandising stock
- Keeping the department clean, tidy and well presented
- Receiving and organising deliveries
- Working closely with colleagues across the department
- Following company procedures and health & safety requirements
About You
Previous retail experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential. Full training will be provided.
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with customers and as part of a team
- Has a positive and approachable attitude
- Is reliable and willing to learn
- Has good communication skills
- Can work independently when required
- Is flexible regarding working hours
