Terms and Conditions

1. Ownership

Before placing an order, you are required to confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. We recommend printing a copy for your records.

This website is the property of The Cope. All materials on this website are copyrighted by The Cope and are provided solely for personal, non-commercial use. Commercial use of this website or its contents is strictly prohibited.

2. Products and Pricing

We strive to ensure product descriptions are accurate at the time of upload. However, we reserve the right to withdraw any product from the website or amend prices without prior notice.

  • All prices are listed in Euro (€) and include VAT.
  • If you pay by credit card in another currency, your card provider will determine the exchange rate.
  • For further information on exchange rates, please contact your bank as they are not set by The Cope.

3. Ordering Goods

Upon placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email indicating that we have received your order. A second email will be sent once your order has been dispatched.

  • Product Availability: All products are subject to availability. Displaying a product on our website does not constitute an offer to sell; an offer is made when you place an order.
  • Order Adjustments: If an item is out of stock, delayed, or priced differently than listed, we will attempt to contact you via the email provided. If no response is received, we will process any remaining items. No substitutions will be made without your authorization.
  • Order Cancellation: To cancel your order, please refer to our Returns Policy.

4. Delivery

Standard Delivery (Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and UK)
  • Free Delivery: Orders over €69, including gift cards, qualify for free delivery.
  • Postage Charges: Orders under €69 incur a €4.95 charge. Heavy household items are charged €12.50.
  • Delivery Times: Orders placed before 12 pm, Monday to Thursday, with addresses in Ireland and Northern Ireland, should arrive within 48 hours. Orders placed on Friday or over the weekend will be dispatched on Monday.
  • Couriers: We primarily use DPD and occasionally An Post.
Scotland & UK Deliveries
  • Postage Charges: €15.00 for packages under 3Kg. Heavier items may incur additional charges.
  • Delivery Times: Orders should arrive within 3-5 working days.
Europe & Rest of World
  • Postage Charges: Rates range between €26.00 and €47.00, with heavier items costing between €55.00 and €90.00.
  • Delivery Times: Up to 10 days for European countries and 20 days for the rest of the world.
  • Restricted Countries: We do not ship to Bulgaria, Iceland, Romania, Tunisia, or Turkey. Transactions to these areas may be canceled.

Tracking: We do not automatically provide tracking numbers. If required, please contact us at customerservice@thecope.ie.

Collect In-Store
  • Pick-Up Location: Menswear section, ground floor, Main Street, Dungloe.
  • Processing Time: Orders will be ready for collection 24 hours after placement.
  • Pick-Up Times: 11 am – 5 pm, Monday to Saturday.
  • Identification: Bring your order confirmation email and photo ID (driver’s license or passport).

After Placing an Order: You will receive an email confirming your details. A second email will follow with your delivery information.

Gift Cards: Once delivered, the recipient is responsible for the security of their gift card. The Cope is not liable for lost, stolen, or misused gift cards.

5. Returns Policy

This Returns and Exchange Policy applies only to online purchases made through our website.

  • Free Returns: Not offered.
  • Refunds: We offer refunds for unsuitable items returned within 14 days of receipt. Items must be new, unused, unworn, with tags attached, and in original packaging. If an item appears used, it will be returned to the purchaser.
  • Processing Refunds: Refunds will be processed through the original payment method, excluding original postage charges, within 5 working days. Delays may occur depending on your bank. Contact us at customerservice@thecope.ie if you have not received your refund within 10 working days.
  • Exchanges: We can exchange items for the same product in a different size, subject to availability. New orders must be placed for different products.
